Poet: Author Morgan Bell
Join local poet Morgan Bell in conversation with Kerri Shying at Tomaree Library to launch her trio of haiku zines.
The zines were designed as a matching set to form a collection of 84 poems, each a unique colour swatch from nature.
This session will include readings and a conversation about haiku as a form, and colour as inspiration. Morgan is the author of visual poetry collections Pretend I Don't Exist (2021) and Idiomatic, For The People (2019).
This launch is part of Newcastle Writers Festival 2026. The zines being launched are: The Sound of Colour (2023), Animalian Bites (2024), and Glancing The Hold (2025).
