Bob Cairns Reserve is a foreshore reserve located at the corner of Cook Street and Foreshore Drive, Salamander Bay.

The reserve is named after the active community volunteer, Bob Cairns who meticulously cared for the space. Bob and his wife moved to Salamander Bay for their retirement and spent their golden years giving back to their local community.

Travelling from the Salamander Shopping centre, travel west along Salamander Way turning right at the Port Stephens Drive roundabout, before turning left into Foreshore Drive.

Bob Cairns Reserve is adjacent to a sandy beach with a shaded grass area perfect for picnics.
