Community programs

The library holds a range of programs, activities and events for adults including book clubs, movie screenings, technology classes, guest speakers and special events.

Movies @ Your Library

Our staff handpick quality films each month at Tomaree and Raymond Terrace Libraries:

  • Raymond Terrace Library — second Thursday of each month at 10am (excluding January)
  • Tomaree Library — third Thursday of each month at 1pm (excluding January)

Finishing times depend on film length. See below for upcoming screenings. Bookings are essential as places are limited.

Book discussions

We hold free monthly book discussions for all adults at Tomaree and Raymond Terrace Library. Bookings are essential as places are limited.

  • Raymond Terrace Library session — first Friday of the month at 10:30am
  • Tomaree Library sessions — first Friday of the month at 10:15am, 11:30am and 2:30pm
Tech Connect

Raymond Terrace and Tomaree libraries hold weekly one-on-one technology sessions.

Thursdays 10:30 to 11:30am (during school term) covering basic computing and internet skills.
