Nelson Bay and District Senior Citizens Social and Welfare Club
Nelson Bay and District Social and Welfare Club is a vibrant club which always welcomes new members and visitors. Its aim is a good social life where members can keep learning, giving and having fun doing what they enjoy, while keeping healthy and alert.
Meetings are held at 1:30pm every Saturday at the Nelson Bay Bowling and Recreation Club. Indoor bowls is held at 1pm every Tuesday and Hoi is held at 1:30pm every Thursday.

Raymond Terrace Writers Group welcomes all kinds of writers. It meets fortnightly from 4 to 6pm Sundays at the Raymond Terrace Bowling Club in the Boardroom or 3 to 5 pm during winter months. A small fee of $2 each visit to cover the cost of a cup of tea and a biscuit.

Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA) is a voluntary, non-profit organisation which provides riding instruction, carriage driving and horse management skills for people with disabilities. It welcomes volunteers from all walks of life.

Salvation Army Hope Community Choir, Raymond Terrace
A happy group of people who meet together to sing both secular and Christian music. They regularly perform at community events, aged care and disability facilities and do concerts in the Hunter area. Rehearsals are held from 6pm to 8pm Thursdays (except in school holidays).
