Mobile Library
Access over 10,000 items on board with the added benefit of borrowing from the entire Newcastle Region's Library collection. The Port Stephens mobile library visits 13 locations throughout our region and provides a range of services including:
- computer access
- free Internet and Wi-Fi
- books
- magazines
- DVDs
- CDs
- printing and photocopying
- Seed Library
Mobile Library Update - 12 January 2026
Unfortunately, due to an ongoing mechanical issue, the Mobile Library will be off the road from Monday 12 to Friday 16 January 2026. During this time, a team member will visit the following stops in the library car, with location-specific holds, a selection of items for loan, and to receive customers returned items.
- Monday 12 January 2026: Tanilba Bay 12 to 1:45pm and Mallabula from 3:15 to 5:30pm
- Tuesday 13 January 2026: Karuah 9 to 11am and Medowie 3 to 5:45pm
- Wednesday 14 January 2026: Fingal Bay 10:30am to 12:45pm and Shoal Bay 2 to 3:30pm
- Thursday 15 January 2026: Lemon Tree Passage 9:30am to 12:15pm and Seaham 3 to 4pm.
- Friday 16 January 2026: Medowie, Kindlebark Drive, 2 to 5pm
