Mobile preschool
Our Mobile Preschool offers a challenging and stimulating educational program. We provide opportunities for children to try new experiences, practice new skills and enjoy playing with their peers.
We believe it's important for children to have a positive early learning experience. These experiences can affect how confidently they transition into 'big school'. We aim to make sure children learn skills to make this change as smoothly as possible.
Our Mobile Preschool is a quality program funded by the NSW Department of Education.
We offer:
- care and learning experiences for children aged 3 to 5 years
- qualified, experienced and caring Educators
- a comprehensive school readiness program
- The New South Wales Government currently provides additional funding called “Fee Relief” to subsidise the cost of Preschool. The subsidy is applied against the parent’s fees and the amount subsidised is determined by the number of days for which the child is enrolled.

Fee information
Fees are outlined in the current Port Stephens Council Fee Schedule.
Mobile Preschool fees are subsidised by NSW Government funding. Children attending up to three days are currently fee free, with children attending for a 4th and 5th day incurring a daily fee as per our Fees and Charges schedule.
The Mobile Preschool Holiday Program trial is not included within our regular NSW Government Mobile Preschool funding allocation, and does not provide funding for fee relief. As a result, a nominal fee per day is required to support participation in this program. This will be determined with each holiday period and will be advised when the Program is advertised.
