All revenue generated from Smart Parking is reinvested into local projects. Smart Parking Infrastructure Plans are developed in partnership with the community to identify how the funds will be spent.

Revenue from Fingal Bay Smart Parking will help to fund projects in Fingal Bay.

Fingal Bay Smart Parking Infrastructure Projects

2023/2024 Projects

Installation of parking meters along Fingal Bay foreshore. These works were completed mid-May 2024.

New shared path between Fingal Beach vehicle boat ramp to Barry Park. Works are currently underway for more information see here

2028/2029 Projects

Car park improvements at Fingal Bay Tennis Court car park

2031/2032 Projects

Installation of shade sail for Fingal Bay foreshore playground.

2033/2034 Projects

Car parking improvements at Barry Park car park including drainage infrastructure, kerb and gutter works and resurfacing.

2034/2035 Projects

Improve shared pathway access points - on Marine Drive north of SLSC - to provide better connection to the existing Fingal Bay-Shoal Bay shared path.
