Mayoral Academic Scholarship Program

The Port Stephens Mayoral Academic Scholarship Program gives local students starting TAFE or University the opportunity to receive a $2000 scholarship to help cover the cost of their studies.

It's a partnership between Council and local businesses to support our next generation of business and industry leaders in Port Stephens.

The investment of one scholarship from a local business makes a big difference to a young person setting out on the next stage of their academic journey. Whether it is a year’s worth of textbooks, a laptop computer, or student accommodation — this contribution goes a long way to support local students and encourage life-long learning.
