Environmental projects fund

The Environmental Project Fund provides opportunity for community and schools to deliver environmentally focussed projects that benefit our local environment. The focus of these projects or activities should be to improve biodiversity and sustainability, protect local ecosystems, encourage student participation and educate our community.

The program will also help to strengthen partnerships between the local community groups, schools and Port Stephens Council.

Funding available

A total of $20,000 is available. $500 – $5,000 maximum per application.

Who can apply?
  • Individuals that live in Port Stephens Council
    Community and volunteer groups (for example: LandCare groups)
  • Incorporated, not-for-profit organisations or charities
  • Schools

  3. Visit portstephens.smartygrants.com.au and complete the online application. Make sure to upload any supporting documentation including your Certificate of Incorporation, budget and any required quotes.
