Sincere Apologies
Experience an interactive performance built from all the apologies the world keeps offering.
Sincere Apologies is a participatory performance made from the apologies we hear every day… the famous, the awkward, the deeply personal, and the ones that begin every second email in our inbox.
Part theatrical ritual, part social experiment, the work explores what it really means to apologise in a world shaped by broken systems, failed relationships, and bureaucratic disclaimers. Funny, moving and quietly disarming, the performance creates space for reflection, repair, and shared responsibility.
The experience is gentle, nurturing and community-building. Nothing is ever compulsory. With simple invitations, audiences are invited to help shape the performance by reading aloud, reflecting silently, or simply bearing witness. Participation happens at your own pace, in your own way.
Sincere Apologies is a rare theatrical experience that holds space for sincerity, care and connection. Presented as part of Seniors Week 2026, the show gives the audience the chance to slow down and consider what apology might mean, both personally and collectively.
