It's on! School Holidays
Port Stephens Council has teamed up with our friends at Curious Legends to run three different events during these April School Holidays, as well as Up&Up who are running a skate event as a part of this Holiday program. All events are free and family friendly!
Events
Curbside Critters workshop with Curious Legends
Wednesday 20 April, 1:30 to 3:30pm Raymond Terrace Library
Get crafty with the team from Curious Legends and create a Curbside Critter to play with and take home. In the workshop, kids and their adults will be shown how to use random bits of trash and rubbish, string, and LOADS of imagination to create new friends – learn how to bring their creatures to life through object theatre and puppetry.

Recycled City workshop with Curious Legends, and Lemon Tree Passage community consultation
Come join Curious Legends to design a city from recycled materials, then bring it to life through puppetry, play, and object theatre! Your buildings will form our unique cityscape at the end of the workshop, when you can take your creations home.
In case of wet weather this event will be moved to the Tilligerry Habitat, 2E King Albert Avenue, Tanilba Bay.
Snak n Rap skate event with Up&Up
Friday 22 April, 12 to 2pm Robinson Reserve Skate Park, Anna Bay
Snak N Rap is a youth/community initiative that combines music, art, food, fun, community and conversation, to engage young people and connect them with the wider community.
Curious Legends Roving Puppets
Saturday 23 April, 6 to 9pm Shoal Bay Foreshore
If you go down to the foreshore tonight your in for a big surprise... On your way to dinner or just enjoying a stroll along the foreshore, you may bump into the amazing Curious Legends illuminated puppets, roving at the Foreshore.
