Chris Hammer is an award-winning Australian crime fiction author and former journalist.
He is best known for his internationally acclaimed Martin Scarsden series (starting with Scrublands) and homicide detective thrillers (Treasure & Dirt).
He pivoted to full-time fiction after a 30-year career as a political and foreign correspondent.
