There are many ways to have your say on issues that affect you. Provide feedback on formal public exhibitions and have your say on community consultation projects below.
Council at its meeting of 23 June 2026 resolved to exhibit the draft Environment Policy.
The draft Environment Policy will be on exhibition from Thursday 25 June 2026 to Thursday 23 July 2026 at the following locations:
- Council's Administration Building: 116 Adelaide Street, Raymond Terrace (during normal business hours)
- Raymond Terrace Library: 18A Sturgeon Street Raymond Terrace
- Tomaree Library: Town Centre Circuit, Salamander Bay
- Mobile Library: (various locations)

Submissions are invited and can be lodged, in writing, to the General Manager at Port Stephens Council, PO Box 42, Raymond Terrace NSW 2324 or emailed to council@portstephens.nsw.gov.au from Wednesday 24 June 2026 to Wednesday 22 July 2026. Please quote file number PSC2022-02249 with your submission. Any enquiries, please telephone (02) 4988 0255.
Please note, submissions may be made in any format that is able to be sent via email and is less than 10mb in size. This may include a video file or audio voice recording, in addition to more traditional written submission.

Council at its meeting held 23 June 2026, resolved to place the draft Code of Meeting Practice on public exhibition.
The draft Code of Meeting Practice will be on exhibition from Friday 3 July to Friday 14 August 2026. The draft Code is available for viewing from this link.

Public Notices
Public notice of Approval - Port Stephens Local Infrastructure Contributions Plan (Comprehensive Amendment)
At its meeting on 10 June 2025 (Minute No. 120), Council resolved to place the draft Port Stephens Local Infrastructure Contributions Plan (Comprehensive Amendment) on public exhibition. The draft was publicly exhibited from Friday 13 June 2025 to Friday 11 July 2025 in accordance with the Environmental Planning and Assessment Regulation 2021 (NSW) (EP&A Regulation).
At its meeting on 25 November 2025 (Minute No. 271), Council resolved to endorse the Port Stephens Local Infrastructure Contributions Plan (Comprehensive Amendment).
The Plan is in force from 1 December 2025.
