Tomaree Library is adjacent to the Salamander Bay Shopping Centre and was established in 2000. A meeting room, study rooms, an external courtyard and many comfortable chairs and lounges are available for reading and relaxation. The library offers a full range of services including free internet and wi-fi access as well as photocopying, scanning, printing and faxing.

Community Centre
The Community Centre (TLACC) is a multi-purpose venue housing the Tomaree Library as well as 6 meeting or function rooms, which can accommodate from 2 to 100 people. In the heart of Salamander, the Centre is surrounded by parking and is just a short walk from public transport.
A range of permanent and casual tenants, groups, services and activities operate from the Centre on a regular basis. These include library, recreation and social activities, healthy lifestyle, spiritual, educational, cultural and hobby groups.

Community Facility Use Agreement and Conditions of Hire
To ensure Councils community halls remain in good condition, hirers are asked to sign the Community Facility Use Agreement and abide by the Conditions of Hire. The Community Facility Use Agreement is an arrangement between the hall contact officer.
