Port Stephens Park Free Permit renewals for residents and ratepayers now complete

If you’re a resident or ratepayer in Port Stephens, you’re eligible for a Port Stephens Park Free Permit.

We’ve recently completed a streamlined renewal of all existing Park Free Permits to make sure permit holder information is up to date and accurate.

All previous permit holders should have received an email inviting you to renew.

Applying for a new Port Stephens Park Free Permit

If you’re eligible and haven’t got your Park Free Permit yet, the process is easy through the Port Stephens Council Park Free Permit Portal:

  1. Visit the Park Free Permit page on our website to learn more about eligibility and guides on how to apply: pscouncil.info/park-free-permits
  2. When you’re ready to apply, head to Park Free Permit Portal: portstephens.permitportal.com.au
  3. Follow the instructions to submit your application.

Smart Parking in Port Stephens

Park Free Permits are part of Smart Parking in Port Stephens, allowing you to park in Smart Parking areas without incurring a fee, provided you follow the signposted time limits.

Smart Parking in Port Stephens is designed to improve safety and accessibility, increase parking turnover and provide a revenue stream to help fund improvements in and around our town centres.
