Wet weather causes mowing delays

Due to continued wet weather, Port Stephens Council’s Parks and Gardens team are currently working through a backlog of mowing and gardening in our parks.

The wet weather has caused extreme growth and made ground conditions in some areas too wet to mow using our machinery.

The team is working hard to reduce the backlog as weather and ground conditions permit. While forecasts indicate more damp conditions on the way, we will endeavour to safely complete all services before the busy Easter break.

We want to thank everyone for their patience and we hope to get Port Stephens looking in top shape again as soon as possible.
