King Street Heritage Festival
Step back in time, dress in vintage, and return to a bygone era when things were simple. The street is closed to traffic for the day so you can linger, and learn something of the past and observe a penny farthing being ridden down the street.
The 2019 festival will be held on Saturday 18 May 2019.
Dress vintage for a chance at prizes. The emphasis is on acoustic music, dance and storytelling and participating in old fashioned games for all ages.
Bring along a treasured item to be valued on the day from 12.30 pm on wards. For larger items bring along photos showing details and condition of item.
Bunnings will host a marquee where children can make a windmill to keep.
Scouts are planning Devonshire teas this year.
