While One Mile Beach will remain open with lifeguard services operating between 9am to 4pm from 26 April to 17 September 2021 — to provide a safe patrolled option year-round.

The easing of COVID-19 restrictions increased visitor numbers to our beaches throughout the 2020 to 2021 summer season with 909,720 attendances, 54 rescues, 314 first aids and 5 incidents requiring an ambulance.

The 2021 to 2022 season begins on Saturday 18 September 2021 and will end on 25 April 2022.
