Community invited to have say on Foreshore Drive land
Port Stephens residents are encouraged to have their say on the proposed sale of 109 Foreshore Drive, Salamander Bay, with proceeds going to fund upgrades to the Tomaree Sports Complex.
The land has been in Council’s hands for approximately 40 years, is classified as operational land and zoned residential.
At its meeting last Tuesday 22 May, Council voted to defer a decision on the sale to conduct a site inspection and seek further community feedback.
Council is now conducting a short survey on its ‘Have Your Say’ webpage from today until midnight Sunday 10 June 2018.
Feedback will be reported to Council before the matter comes back into the chambers at a future date.
