Road closures across Port Stephens due to severe weather event

The storms have caused multiple road closures across Port Stephens.
Road closures:
- Newline Rd, Raymond Terrace is CLOSED.
- Seaham Rd between Brandy Hill Dr and Wighten St is CLOSED.
- Hunter St and Glenelg St, Raymond Terrace are CLOSED.
- East Seaham Rd, Newline Rd to Limeburners Creek Rd is CLOSED.
- Masonite Rd is CLOSED.
- Clarencetown Rd between Timbertops and Carmichael Ck is CLOSED
- High St Hinton is CLOSED.
- Old Punt Rd Hinton is CLOSED.
- Water over road at Hinton Road Osterley
Please drive with caution as the following roads are under traffic control:
- Lemon Tree Passage Rd - one lane only
- Dunns Creek Rd - one lane only

School closures
Several schools in the area have been confirmed as non-operational due to the current weather event. See the full list here.
Council services and facility closures:
- Our Mobile Library will not be visiting Salt Ash, Tanilba Bay and Mallabula.
Sanbagging point:
Sand for sandbagging is being delivered for Medowie and surrounding areas.
- Location: hard standing area at Ferrodale Oval, next to the council depot. (Turn down beside the Medowie Social and head to the sports field)
- Time: sand will be available until 1pm
- What to do: scan the QR code provided and fill out the details. This allows us to monitor how much sand is remaining, then either use the shovels provided or bring your own and fill the required number of provided sandbags to protect your home and property.
