Participate in a survey about road safety in your community
19 May 2025
You're invited to participate in the CASS (Community Action for Safe Speeds) study. The “CASS” study aims to find innovative ways to reduce speeding-related road trauma in New South Wales through increasing public demand for safer speeds.
In this study we seek to evaluate speed behaviour and community attitudes to speeding in 7 Local Government Areas (LGA) across NSW.
Participation involves completing a 20-minute online survey, on 2 occasions, 6 months apart. The survey contains questions about your demographics and attitudes to road safety issues including speeds in your community. Upon completing both the initial and 6-month follow up surveys, participants will enter a draw to win 1 of 4 $250 e-gift vouchers (per LGA).
To be eligible to participate, you must:
- Be aged 18 years and older
- Be able to complete the survey in English
- Be willing to complete 2 surveys, 6 months apart
- Live or work in Port Stephens
