At Fishermans Bay the blowhole had a much needed clean up of micro plactics, the rock platforms were cleared of marine debris and the roadsides cleared of litter. In great news, there were fewer plastic straws found this year!

We also want to acknowledge our sponsor, Veolia and the site supervisors who organise the events across our region to help keep Port Stephens beautiful.

This year, across Port Stephens there were:

• 17 community groups participating
• 8 business Clean Ups
• 14 youth and school Clean Ups
• + many volunteers
