Festive weekend in store for Port Stephens
There's a lot happening across Port Stephens this weekend! From carols to Christmas community days, festivals and fireworks, there's something for everyone!

The Port Stephens Celtic Association will be hosting a community parade to thank the community for their involvement and support with this year's Celtic Festival. The parade will march from Hunter Street Raymond Terrace to William Street, down Sturgeon street into Terrace Central Carpark. Traffic controllers will be in place.
Please note rolling road closures will be in place throughout parts of Raymond Terrace from 9 to 10am to facilitate the safety of parade participants. Follow signage and traffic controllers' instructions.

Christmas carols, free kids craft workshops, and a Build-A-Bear workshop ($10, bookings on the MarketPlace website)
We're excited to welcome the local Seaside Singers to bring the Christmas spirit to Nelson Bay CBD on Saturday 9 December. Come down and enjoy the music as you do your Christmas shopping.

Gather your loved ones for a festive evening of carols, treats, Santa, and fireworks by the bay!

Council will also be on site undertaking our third round of Community Catch Ups – an opportunity to have an informal chat with your local Councillors, General Manager, and Council staff about what’s coming up in your local place. The catch ups are an important way for us to hear about the things that matter to you.
