Project description
East Seaham Road works will be funded through multiple external sources to improve the safety of the road and include sealing the remaining section of the unsealed East Seaham Road.
This project will take into consideration the heritage and environmental impacts, along with its proximity to National Park land. This means we need a full environmental impact statement as part of the design and planning. Our team is working through the project approval process and we're aiming to seal the remaining length of the road in 2025.
Once the design and timings are finalised we'll advise residents and road users.
Scheduled maintenance grading will continue on the 3km section of unsealed road in accordance with our schedule.
This project has been made possible with funding via the Federal Blackspot project, Federal Local Roads and Community Infrastructure (LRCI) funds and committed funding from the $10M NSW government election commitment.
