Have Your Say

We are currently in Stage 3 of the Coastal Management Program (CMP). This will involve working with our community to identify options for the management of our coastal areas in a way that supports the environmental, social and economic values that make Port Stephens a great place to live, work and play.

Our coastal hazard mapping shows areas of Port Stephens that are vulnerable to coastal hazards from now to 2120.

How can I stay informed?

We’ve now completed the community engagement for Stage 3 of the CMP which included hazard mapping drop-in sessions in May and the management options workshops in June 2023.

You can view some of the community comments collected on our online mapping tool

The information collected from the drop-ins, workshops and the online mapping tool is now being reviewed and will be used to help draft the CMP which will be available for further comment early 2024.
