Have Your Say

How can I get involved?

We are currently in Stage 3 of the Coastal Management Program (CMP). This will involve working with our community to identify options for the management of our coastal areas in a way that supports the environmental, social and economic values that make Port Stephens a great place to live, work and play.

Our coastal hazard mapping shows areas of Port Stephens that are vulnerable to coastal hazards from now to 2120.

We've held the May 2023 hazard mapping drop-in sessions, and registration for the management options workshops in June 2023 is now open. These workshops are your opportunity to have input into the potential future coastal management options to help address the coastal hazards identified in the mapping.

The workshops are available both online and face-to-face. We encourage you to register your interest in attending at pscouncil.info/cmp-rego

DROP IN SESSIONSLOCATION
Wednesday 7 June 2023, 5pm to 7pm Online (register via the link above)
Thursday 8 June 2023, 10am to 12pm Bruce Scott Pavilion, Tomaree Sports Complex
Thursday 8 June 2023, 3pm to 5pm Tanilba  Foreshore Hall, Tanilba Bay

You can also have your say on future management options by completing a survey – coming soon.

Feedback from the workshops and survey will be used to help draft the CMP, which will be available for further comment mid year.
