For all Tendering activities, Council will use electronic tendering methods of releasing opportunities to market. Council has moved to eProcure from 6 April 2020. Use the following link to access our new portal: https://www.eprocure.com.au/portstephens/

eProcure provides a simple, secure and efficient means for managing tendering activities for:

  • Expressions of Interests
  • Open Request for Quotations
  • Tenders.

All tender communication is via the this portal and each tender forum.

The registration process is free. Please ensure that your company's details are correct and users maintained accordingly.

This electronic tendering portal, aligns with Councils’ governance requirements and responsibilities as per the Local Government Act. Suppliers should be familiar with Councils key Policies — in particular the Statement of Business Ethics, Code of Conduct and Procurement Policy (available here).

Council also has Expressions of Interests, open Request for Quotations and tenders which are current (Prior to 6 April 2020) through TenderLink. Historical opportunities have been managed through this electronic tendering system.

Opportunities are published in the tendering portal eProcure as well as the appropriate and relevant newspapers: Sydney Morning Herald (Tuesday tender section) and either the Port Stephens Examiner and/or Newcastle Herald (Saturday edition), based on the type of supply.

These must be lodged electronically via eProcure or by manual lodgement into the Tender Box on the ground floor of Council’s Administration Building: 116 Adelaide St, Raymond Terrace prior to the closing time. Late submissions will not be accepted.

Bushfire-affected communities rebuild portal

Due to the recent bushfires, the NSW Government would like to hear from anyone that may have capability and capacity to provide goods and/or services in affected regions. It has established a supplier list that covers any goods or services — everyone is welcome to apply to be registered. Find out more.
