Community Satisfaction Survey

Every year we ask residents how satisfied they are with the facilities and services we provide through our annual Community Satisfaction Survey. The results give us an overall measure of how we are performing and what we need to focus on.

The Community Satisfaction Survey is broadly representative of the Port Stephens population. The results are reported to Councillors, our community and staff to inform planning decisions and help us allocate resources — it's all part of our commitment to continuous improvement.

Community Satisfaction Survey 2021

The Community Satisfaction Survey is now closed for 2021. We will update this page with the results in the coming months.

Community Satisfaction Survey 2020

The Community Satisfaction Survey 2020 was conducted in May and June 2020. We received 1,542 responses — greater than the 1,095 responses needed to reach statistical validity.

The Community Satisfaction Survey Report for 2020 was adopted by Council at its meeting on 25 August 2020.

Overall satisfaction with the Council's services was 80%.
