Project description
Intersection upgrade with Hinton Road, Nelsons Plains
Council is undertaking intersection upgrade and road reconstruction works on Seaham Road and Hinton Road intersection which is scheduled to begin early January 2023.
This project has been made possible by Special Purpose Grant Funding Agreement between the Australian Government, Dungog Shire Council, Port Stephens Council and Transport for NSW.
The aim of this project is to improve the condition and safety of the road and intersection.
The works will include:
- Road Reconstruction (project map shown below)
- Intersection upgrades
- Water main replacement
- Minor drainage works
There will be some temporary traffic changes to ensure the work site is safe for workers and motorists. Please follow our traffic controller’s directions. Our construction team will notify residents of impacts to driveway access throughout the project.
These works are scheduled to be completed within 6 weeks (weather dependant).
