Pavement repairs progressed with the completion of insitu-stabilisation late last week and over the weekend. Two coat seal was then reapplied mid this week. Final works involving completion of guardrail and linemarking are being completed for the road to be reopened on Monday 15 May.
The works will improve road safety by undertaking the following:
- Rehabilitate the existing road pavement
- Improving road alignment
- Increasing travel lane widths and road shoulder widths
- Protecting road users from roadside hazards by undertaking some tree clearing, installation of roadside barriers and audible tactile linemarking
Resident/business will access properties in Gan Gan Road via the Frost Road end.
