Seaham Park & Wetlands Committee
Located adjacent to the Williams River at Seaham, Seaham Park is in the traditional lands of the Worimi people. Some 50% of the area of the park is covered by coastal floodplain wetland.
The park was proclaimed a Reserve for Public Recreation in 1838 and has a long history of providing the venue for community functions and an array of sporting activities.
Seaham Park has been a significant focus for community gatherings for several generations. It is in a central location and links the flood plain, the Williams River and the Seaham Wetlands Nature Reserve.
Amenities/features include cricket oval, playground equipment, bbq, toilets (upgraded 2011) skate park, picnic tables with shelters, wetlands, and Riverside Walk to the foreshore of the Williams River.
