StrikeStrong is a free dynamic self-defence and fitness program for teens aged between 12 and 16. All genders and all experience levels are welcome! Just bring your energy and get ready to move, learn and grow.
Designed to build confidence, strength and resilience, StrikeStrong gives young people a supportive space to learn valuable skills while staying active and connected.

Program details
7 sessions will be held at PCYC Raymond Terrace (17/19 Sturgeon Street) from 11am to 12pm on:
- Monday 5 January
- Tuesday 6 January
- Monday 12 January
- Tuesday 13 January
- Monday 19 January
- Tuesday 20 January
- Tuesday 27 January
Each 60-minute session includes:
- Practical self-defence techniques
- Fitness, coordination and agility training
- Fun challenges and interactive teamwork drills
Final Day in Nelson Bay
Celebrate your success with all StrikeStrong participants on Friday 30 January 2026 with a trip to Nelson Bay from 9am to 1pm to walk part of the Tomaree Coastal Walk, enjoy a swim and celebrate your achievements with a BBQ lunch.
