This analysis enables us to understand the impact of ongoing trends or changes, providing relevant information within Council and to external Federal, State and community organisations. This helps us advocate and guide planning to meet the needs and aspirations of our communities.
In 2014 the estimated population of Port Stephens was 69, 728. This means between 2006 and 2014 the population has increased by 9, 240 people or an annual growth rate of 1.9%. The Port Stephens Economic Profile and Port Stephens Community Profile are publicly available sites.
