Road Maintenance & Construction
Port Stephens Council provides a wide range of “on the ground” services to the local community which include the construction & maintenance of local and regional roads. We also provide road maintenance services under contract to the Roads and Traffic Authority for the State classified road networks in the Port Stephens Local Government area which include: - Nelson Bay Road,
- Cabbage Tree Road,
- Tomago Road,
- Richardson Road,
- parts of Adelaide, William Bailey, Seaham and Raymond Terrace Road.

Port Stephens Council is required to temporarily close roads due to emergency/ safety situations, construction/maintenance activities or to allow for other approved events to take place.
