2009 Lower Hunter Urban Design Awards

Owners, architects, designers and builders of developments completed in the last 3 years are encouraged to submit an entry into the Urban Design Awards.

This year's awards will be hosted by Cessnock City Council but also include nominations from Maitland, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens and Newcastle City Councils.

The awards are aimed at improving the quality of our environment with the acknowledgement of outstanding planning and design work and in particular, it's relationship with the public realm.

There are 9 categories with varying criteria. Winners receive a prestigious plaque to be attached to the building and a certificate to be awarded to the nominee on the awards night.
