Port Stephens Council Helps Detox Your Home - Media ReleaseLast modified: April 2, 2008 - 4:32 PM
As part of its sustainable living series, Port Stephens Council will hold a workshop this Saturday 5 April, featuring highly sought after presenter Theresa Rutherford.
In a hands-on, informative and fun way, the session will demonstrate how easy it is to use non-toxic cleaning practices and still achieve great results. Presenter Theresa Rutherford runs her own chemical-free cleaning business and has a vast amount of experience in teaching sustainable living programs. Speaking today she said each participant would have the opportunity to make and take home their own non-toxic cleaning and body care products. “These workshops are about picking up real skills, not listening to someone lecture from the front of a class,” she said. “We will show how a change in behaviours can have a positive influence on the health of your family and save you money as well.”
Those interested in attending the workshop should contact Melinda Anderson on 49 800 251 or email melinda.anderson@portstephens.nsw.gov.au.
