Channel Nine’s Getaway show will feature Andrew Johns relaxing and enjoying the surf in his favourite place; Port Stephens, tomorrow night Thursday 23 July at 7.30pm. Shot in April this year, the episode ‘My Favourite Place with Andrew Johns’ features the former Newcastle Knight showing Channel Nine host Jason Dundas around the Tomaree Peninsula. Some of the highlights include: · The picturesque Tomaree National Park Summit walk · Lunch at Bub’s Fish and Chips · Surfing at One Mile Beach · Footy fun along Shoal Bay Beach grassland Speaking today Marketing Officer, Tars Bylhouwer said the episode will present Port Stephens in a great light. "Andrew Johns really knows the area and will be able to showcase a side of the region visitors don’t often get a chance to appreciate," he said. "With all its natural beauty and great surfing spots, it’s no wonder Johns calls Port Stephens his favourite place," he said.
