Muloobinba Intensive Family Support

Muloobinba Intensive Family Support (IFS) is an intervention program for Aboriginal families with children aged 0-15 years living in the local area. Referrals for IFS are only received from Family & Community Services.

The IFS project provides a 12 week intensive support program in the family home for up to 15 hours per week and an additional 40 weeks of support that includes:

  • information, advice, advocacy, and referrals
  • services and skills development
  • skills support though case planning
  • structured parenting programs
  • assistance to understand the strengths, risks and needs of the children and family
  • on-call assistance for emergency circumstances
