You can drop-off your excess waste at Council's waste transfer station or the privately owned waste facility at Newline Road, Raymond Terrace.
These facilities also accept most types of waste that should not be placed in your garbage or recycling bins.
Salamander Bay Waste Transfer Station
4 Tarrant Road, Salamander Bay Ph: 02 4982 7514
From April 2012 all vehicles entering the site will be weighed in and out and will pay by weight and there is a minimum fee for all vehicles
From 1 July 2014 mulch will no longer be available from this site. Changes to NSW EPA regulations requires specific processing of green waste/mulch before use which Council is unable to carry out on site. For this reason all green waste will be removed to an external licensed facility for treatment.
Lemon Tree Passage Waste Transfer Station ceased operating on 30th September 2009.
