Department of Local Government (DLG) Final Report

Port Stephens Council, at its Ordinary Meeting on 13 September 2005, tabled the results of a Department of Local Government Review of its operations.
Part of the Departments Local Government Reform Program on Promoting Better Practice, the report contains forty one recommendations across six areas. The Council is required to report back to the department within six months on its progress toward implementing the recommendations.
