The Council Plan highlights the function and activities for Council for the next 4 years.
The Plan contains our services, key areas of business and the direction Council will plan for the ensuing 12 month period, with an overall view of the 4 year period. The 2009 - 2013 Council Plan provides a profile of Port Stephens, information on your elected members and management, Council's organisational structure, Planning Implementation and Strategic Direction. The Council Plan is based on sustainability and addresses five key Sustainability Directional Statements:
- Environment
- Economic Development
- Social Development
- Cultural Development
- Corporate Accountability (the Business Excellence Framework).
A companion document to the 2009 - 2013 Council Plan, the Port Stephens Council 2009 - 2010 Fees and Charges Schedule is also available for downloading below. The 2009 - 2013 Council Plan and the 2009 - 2010 Fees and Charges Schedule were prepared in accordance with the Local Government Act 1993.
