Areas affected by Flooding and/or Inundation

The policy restricts development of flood prone land and requires assessment of the risks and consideration of satisfactory precautions where appropriate.
The objective of the policy is to restrict the development of land subject to the likelihood of flooding and/or tidal inundation defined as floodprone land in Port Stephens Local Environmental Plan 2000.
