Our Gardener Operators play an important role in keeping Councils Parks, Reserves and Sports fields in great shape for our community and our visitors. We are seeking applicants who are committed to Councils objectives of providing quality customer service in a safe, efficient and effective manner. You will need to consistently demonstrate your ability and willingness to actively participate as a team member while positively responding to change in the workplace demands and provide support to other staff, volunteers, external contractors and the general public. Generally the work is horticultural based with tasks including turf maintenance and renovation, landscape construction and maintenance, vegetation and playground maintenance. Experience in the operation of Horticultural equipment including tractors, large out-front mowers and boom sprays and the skills used in the maintenance of landscaped garden beds will be highly regarded. Salary Range: $692.22 - $791.52 per (38 hour) week with a monthly RDO. Appointment is subject to satisfactory completion of probationary period.
